In the wake of all his wonderful encounters in 2014, Stefan Colomb crossed paths withEmmanuel Zimmert, who told him about a project he'd been working on for several years: "acroāma". From the very first minutes of listening to this project, Stefan is immersed in the atmospheres created, rich in images and sensations, that are Electro sound combinations. The recipe is simple: take a good handful of electro synths, a pinch of samples and analog vocals, 8-bit beats and coat the whole with a dense, visual narrative layer. These 7 tracks remind Stefan Colomb of the sonic ambiences and auditory textures of David Lynch, and even Stanley Kubrick, of rhythmic sequences and haunting, highly imaged and powerful sounds à la Kraftwerk. Emmanuel Zimmert has mastered the art of manipulating midi imprints to create unique loops that form the essence of each composition. In other words, he knows how to create the right mix of samples, narrative voices and even the dirty side of the not-so-easy-to-place 8-bit sound. Having traveled extensively, he has come to know spaces, and this is reflected in his music, which is nourished by cultural influences of all kinds (cinematographic, musical, artistic, literary, playful videos), from all eras and various countries. Stefan Colomb felt the need to be part of this real work of research, of expression, so dense, simple and complex at the same time, and therefore proposed to give even more sonic value to the project, to finalize and maximize this sound object by carrying out the last stage of its production, Mastering.
