Musical Writing "Child Friendly City" of Cusset.

Between July 9 and 20, 2012, some fifteen children aged between 9 and 11 got together as part of the "Cusset Vacances" program set up by the "La passerelle" social center and the Cusset town council's Children's Department. The aim of this creative workshop was to write a song about children's rights. During the first week, the children met every afternoon, and following a series of discussions, they began to write a few words in small groups, phrases that seemed important to them. Stefan Colomb, for his part, had to write and compose the melody of the future song, following the daily collection of phrases and ideas. After discovering the music in its entirety, finalizing the text and a few rehearsals, the recording of the children's voices began in Stefan's studio in the second week. Here again, it was a new stage of discovery for the youngsters, who quickly familiarized themselves with this kind of exercise. After a few days of mixing, the song "Rester grand" was born. Many thanks to the children for their participation and talent, as well as to the organizers who contributed in one way or another to the success of this second opus, which completes the "UNICEF child-friendly city" project of February 2012. These projects were finalized in November 2012 with the recording of the song "Ville amie des enfants". The lyrics were written by children from the Turgis leisure center and the Chambon children's home in Cusset.
