"The Prose of the Trans-Siberian Railway".
The Modul'artis company's creations include a show featuring four cellists and a narrator. At the end of 2013, Stefan Colomb had the great pleasure of recording, mixing and producing the sound for Invitation au voyage, which in this case was not written by Charles Baudelaire. This one comes to us from Frédéric Louis Sauser, otherwise known as Blaise Cendrars. The Swiss-born poet and novelist was 26 years old when, on the eve of the First World War, he penned the wide-ranging, feverishly epic poem "The Prose of the Trans-Siberian", a dream journey and a dream of travel at the heart of his adventurous life and sentimental adventures. Alain Mossé, reader-performer, offered to narrate this long poetic fresco at the request of Gilles Sogny-Pautrat, composer and cellist, accompanying the latter's original melodies, played in a cello quartet, conducted by him."
The Cellists: Esther Barrot - Pascale Lemaire - Therese Reijs - Gilles Sogny Pautrat
