For Stefan Colomb,Africa represents a very strong, essential and indispensable link to cultural and intellectual wealth. After meetings with several artists from Congo, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso, a new story begins with the Senegalese director Moustapha Seck.

Moustapha Seck is visiting Vichy before returning to Switzerland, so he establishes a dialogue with Stefan, leading to a touching exchange and a shared sensitivity. After watching Moustapha Seck's next film about the Burkina Faso sculptor " Sama ", who Stefan had already met in 2012, the idea of their collaboration was born. Back in Switzerland, Moustapha Seck was stuck in Lausanne due to the health crisis. This situation resulted in a film made in a hurry. He therefore proposed to Stefan Colomb to work on the sound mixing and post-production, as well as on the colorimetry. After a few weeks of exchanges by video on the work done, a new version of this film is now being produced for the cinema. This film will be released next spring on Swiss screens by a distribution label " ZooScope "a collective of artists from Lausanne.

Blocked in Lausanne by the health crisis, Senegalese filmmaker Moustapha Seck wanders the deserted streets and meets the inhabitants in a park. Almost forty years after Lettre à Freddy Buache, a commission from the municipality to Jean-Luc Godard, he in turn takes an irreverent look at this city "all vertical".

"The city opened up to me the day it closed."
