In 2020 Stefan Colomb met Sarah Delbois during a collaboration on an English translation she was doing for a film. The discussion quickly turned to the songs she writes and composes. Her universe is rich, sensitive, authentic and original. She interprets her words straight out of her moleskin with a soft intensity and nuance. Her music, played on guitar and mandolin, is played in suspension, delicacy, there is an illustrated silence between each note. A perfect osmosis between the voice and the instrument. Stefan proposes to Sarah to produce 5 of the songs she likes the most in a few studio sessions. A universe that she discovers for the first time, and the first listenings reveal a beautiful flight.

A superb year-long project by Son of birds. 5 digital tracks written and composed by Sarah for her first studio experience, a great success, a sharing with Stefan Colomb in whom she entrusted the production, but also for some tracks the piano arrangements among others. These are autobiographical stories, taken straight from the artist's Moleskine, and she soberly marks and assumes the silences.

OAKTREE

"Oaktree" is a song about feeling at ease in the shade of an oak tree in summer. It's a song for which Sarah has asked Stefan Colomb to write an arrangement, and which he will perform on piano. A 5th track is currently in production and will round off a first EP to be released digitally before the end of the year. Oaktree will also have a video produced and edited by Stefan Colomb this autumn.
