Interventions at the University of Vichy

In 2020, Stefan Colomb began his interventions at the University of Vichy, Pôle Lardy. He met Marie Bornard, a teacher, who suggested that he come and share his professional experience and his knowledge of intermittent work with students of the DUT journalism and MMI audiovisual. Some of these students have since set up their own production company and keep in touch with Stefan Colomb, especially to get his feedback, his analysis, technical help or simply a little support!

I met Stefan in 2019, I was looking for a testimony from a professional in my capacity as a law teacher at the University of Clermont Auvergne. As I have to deal with the particular regime of intermittence in the framework of my teaching to audiovisual technicians, I thought it would be precious to have a "real intermittent of the show" who is experienced and capable of explaining to young people who are still in training the contours of this regime, which is often criticized and not well known. I found Stefan to be a valuable collaborator, as he spoke to three successive classes in an extremely relevant manner. The students really appreciate being able to question a real professional who is capable of taking a step back from their situation and presenting them with objectivity the advantages of this system as well as its constraints. A professional who speaks brilliantly and passionately about his profession, his career and his hopes for the years to come.

In January 2021, Natacha Astor, journalist, and Thomas Hory, journalist and director, both students in their second year of a journalism degree, also went to meet Stefan as part of their work. They had to make a report on the current activity of Stefan Colomb Productions. Stefan was able to show them his working environment and talk about his career. This was followed by long exchanges on their student career, allowing Stefan Colomb to perceive a passion for their profession, in a benevolent idea of sharing. THE REPORT

In the same year and still within the framework of his interventions, Stefan met Caroline Dussart, Sylvain Perry and Aymeric Audinat, also audiovisual students. Following their training, they created a production company: Perception Films. The exchanges continue in Stefan's studio. A real meeting! He is seduced by their work: quality, professionalism, enthusiasm and above all the desire to create beautiful things. Their frequent professional exchanges give rise to the desire for future collaborations.

En 2021 is the first collab's, our production for the 48 Hour Film Project Lyon 2021! It's called "Tout va bien", and tackles the theme of Alzheimer's disease. An intense weekend of great moments, with a highly professional team who, thanks to their human and qualitative relationships, will be rewarded - we won the prize for the best use of the dialogue line!

TESTIMONY

Stefan is a good listener and very positive. We met him during one of his interventions at the Pôle Lardy in Vichy, in which he shared his experiences and advice with us, audiovisual students. We regularly consult him for an external, constructive, honest and relevant opinion on various sound productions. It was a rich meeting, both on a professional and human level.

I met Stefan during a pedagogical intervention during my studies. Thanks to his experiences, we were able to exchange and be enlightened on professional and human points that are strong in our field, which is audiovisual. His approach, the feeling he implies in his work and his vision of the projects make him a precious adviser!
