A Shadow in the Picture

In 2014 Stefan Colomb joined Florence Corre (choreographer) with whom he has worked for almost 25 years and to Fanny Reuillard (video artist) as co-director of the short film Une ombre au tableau, a tale mixing fiction and dance. He is in charge of co-directing and everything that involves shooting, all sound recording, mixing and sound production, video editing of the trailer and the credits of the short film, as well as the composition of some of the film's music and credits.

Taken in by this project close to their hearts, the 3 co-directors let themselves be carried away into the world of creativity, in which time stands still, being absorbed and inhabited by the story, where every feeling is explored. The first screening of the short film "Une Ombre au Tableau" took place on June 21, 2015. After 2 years in the making, this 26-minute pictorial tale blends acting with classical and jazz ballet. It was released on DVD in winter 2015. 

It is with great pleasure that he writes, composes and produces music once again, thus reconnecting with the world of creation that is so dear to him. The novelty of this work is that he wrote the lyrics of the theme song, which he entrusted to Mathilde Lemaire. According to him, with her sensitivity and her passion for music, she was able to transcribe the sometimes difficult task of illustrating an ending. 

The idea is to bring this film to life in various festivals and in some cinemas that are curious about regional productions.
